Melbourne Cup has been and gone and I thank all those that played, supported, Cooked BBQ’s, Prepared food, Helped on the bar and a big thank you to our sponsors. Great event again with a couple of lessons learnt looking ahead for future years.
The Women’s bathroom has been upgraded and looks great and the Kitchen is next which will be happening Mid December to Mid January.
I encourage people to turn up to the meeting this Saturday at 4.30pm to discuss golf at our course going forward. Especially those that play Wednesday, Saturday or Sundays. Have we got the balance right? Can we do better? What would you like to see/Not see? There are whispers around so turn up and have your say.
The same goes with the AGM a week later. Please come along and have your say. And come along and meet the members by joining in with the Ambrose…bit of fun to finish the year.
To answer one question the sand for divots is being put on hold for a short time as the course is looking good and there are other projects that are being focussed on.
As previously discussed we will be hosting Champion of Champions (Men’s) at RNZAF on the 24th November which is 36 holes. Volunteers still needed for the afternoon part please. The course will be closed the afternoon before hand after the 12:45 tee off to protect and prepare the course.

Please enter your cards on the system and leave the cards on the match table. If you don’t like Srixon AD333s then don’t enter the Haggles over the Christmas Break.
