A big thank you to all those that helped out on Sunday. The general feeling was that it was a very successful event and the course as it was all week was in great condition.
Another thank you to those that helped with the incident on the 14th hole on Saturday. Bruce is very thankful to all those that rendered assistance. Unfortunately Bruce has returned to hospital this morning and we wish him well for a speedy recovery.
With that in mind it has come apparent over the year that some of our members are a little impatient on our golf course and want to finish their rounds quickly and/or get back to the bar quickly. Can you all please make sure that when you tee off that your own hole is clear. Especially the short holes (with the southerly wind direction). Every member of your group is responsible for making sure there are no risks ahead not just the person teeing off. I encourage every member of a group to watch each others ball flight as well. I also ask for patience at the 12/13th hole crossover. The 13th Hole players have right of way. If you are late to the 12th tee please wait your turn.
Lets finish this year on a high with a good turn out for the AGM on Saturday and then a fun Hamper Day.
