Best wishes for 2025. Our course has been looked after over the first few days of the holidays with minimal pitch marks so I thank you all.
A recent Facebook post has highlighted our need for patience on the course. Can I ask please that Our Facebook page isn’t used for this kind of feedback and that anyone involved that needs to “vent” please talk to the committee members about your concerns. Having said this there are times when our course will be quite busy (Most Mornings) and that whatever size your group that you maintain a good playing pace. There is no need for people to play a shot and then play 4 or 5 practice shots after that shot especially when the group behind you is waiting to tee off. If you need some extra practice please use our course during quiet times.
Plenty of events happening over 2025 so keep an eye on 18holes. Recent feedback has been helpful in planning 2025 events with several enjoying the Melbourne Cup and Par 3 style big events so we may fit in a couple more.
Just a heads up Kaipara Pennants will be on Sunday 23rd of February AM and Hibiscus on Sunday 30th of March AM we will need some volunteers on those days to assist. Would be nice to see some new faces on those days helping out. Also our first big Sunday event where the course will be busy is the Annual RSA event on the 19th of January…the course will be closed until around 1pm on this day.
It is my intention to continue with Sunday Bar openings in 2025 however there are times where I may be late or not there at all due to other commitments. Bar Hours are usually 11:30 thru till around 3pm. The bar will be open from 12:00 on New Years Day for those playing.
