It has been made apparent that we are not capturing everybody with our communication. By now you should have access to 18holes and a link/login to the Website. We also communicate thru our Facebook page which again does not encapsulate the full membership in fact less than half.
From now on we will be using the Facebook page and Website to communicate important information, club captains updates and requests for volunteers etc. It is requested that all members make themselves familiar with at least one of these forms of communication checking in at least every time you make a booking on 18holes with the website. 18holes will also hold course information as we seem to be getting mixed messaging here too.
General Notes:
Every Member of our club ticked Wednesday or Saturday for their Bar Roster when joining…we are struggling to cover the bar twice a month and with 600 members this should not be happening. If you haven’t done a bar shift this year please email Alan McCord on Mccord0426@gmail.com with your preferred Wednesday or Saturday. There is a tee time at 10:53 on a Saturday for those who wish to play golf first when doing the bar. Those wishing to play before the 11:30 bar slot can play at 07:30 with an email to the club captain at least 10 days prior so you can be booked in.
You all know my bug bear on the course is Pitch Marks and Divots…These must be repaired. Tuesday golfers and those hosting visitors are our worst offenders. I get 3 complaints a week.

Friday 30 May Westerns District’s Hockey Event (Course Closed Until 3pm)
Saturday 31 May Teams of 3 Ambrose Fun Event in groups of 6 Members only lets fill the clubhouse. Counts as a Haggle for those needing an extra one.
Sunday 1 June Birkenhead RSA Event (Early play off the 7 tee likely today for Members and Guests)
