Members,
The weather looks very good for a full weekend of golf. Potential for frost delays however hoping for cloud cover to allow us to play as per the bookings. Keep an eye on the facebook page over the next week as well as there is some wet weather coming on Tuesday with potential course closures Wednesday and Thursday to allow us to protect the course from stray golf carts and those that don’t know how to fix pitch marks.
Tomorrow Saturday please do not scan your card after the round as the scanner is having accuracy issues. Please manually enter the card using the card number to get started. I will be at the club at 11:15ish Saturday to show the first groups off the course how to do this if anyone is having issues.
The bar will be open on Sunday with Sunday 9 Hole teeing off after 2:15pm for those interested. As we get more daylight at the end of the day we may get the Tuesday early bird twilight started again in the last week of August.
Just to make members aware we do allow visitors on a Saturday but not until after 12:30pm (members plus 3 visitors). Those who wish to have one or two visitors before this time are to contact me first. I will not be booking these people in until 6pm on Friday to allow those members who regularly play Saturday a chance to book their tee times. Can I ask please that those members that want to host visitors on the first Saturday of every month which is our monthly medal day to wait until 6pm Friday before booking. This is our busy day every month and we may not be able to fit you in. Sorry for any inconvenience. If in doubt please ask first.
