We are coming to the end of our formal golfing year. LADIES CLOSING DAY is this coming Tuesday, 26th November. We will have a shotgun start, teeing off at 8.30.
As usual we will be playing the Johnston Pairs, which is a Canadian Foursomes.
Choose your partner [names will NOT be drawn out of a hat].
Add your handicaps together, then divide by two.
Both players Tee off on every hole.
You then choose which ball you want to use.
Then play alternate shots until you hole out.
I have also been told that it is traditional to have a Christmas lunch on our closing day. It seems this tradition was put on hold when covid came along but I have been asked if we can bring igt back, and the answer is yes.
So, on Tuesday after golf, we will have a lunch of ham, potatoes, peas, and buns.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DO OR BRING ANYTHING – JUST TURN UP. AND PLEASE, THOSE FRIENDS AND MEMBERS WHO CANNOT PLAY GOLF ON THE DAY – YOU ARE ALL INVITED TO JOIN US.
