Lots of chatter around the club over the weekend about the Par 3 Contest. This event will go ahead. If you haven’t already sent your names in to play please do so before the end of this week so we can sort prizes and catering. Email thebean1972@hotmail.co.nz with your name and your guests names if you are bringing them. There will be a ladies competition too and I will have separate tees (on some holes) for the ladies. Current course Par 3s will remain the same with the other 14 holes being shortened based on Stroke difficulty.
The plan will be to arrive between 8am and 8.30am and sort everyone out a tee to start on with a Shot Gun Start around 9-9.15am. BBQ lunch will be covered in the entry fee $10 members and $30 Visitors. Should be a fun day hopefully we get good weather.
Those coming along to the Tree Planting this Thursday (13th June) please be at the club at 9am on Thursday morning. Reminder to members that holes 4,5 and 6 are closed on Thursday until completion of the tree planting for safety reasons. Please tee off the 7th tee when beginning your round.
