Greetings fellow golfers,
As Hamper Day is over and we have finished our programme for the year, there are no longer any formal Tuesday Ladies’ Golfing days. They will resume in February when we begin the 2026 golfing year. Many of us still play on a Tuesday morning but the course is not reserved for ladies during this time.
We do however have two summer competitions – the Wynn Well net and putts and the Betty Hemming stableford. These can be played on any day of the week, but you must play with someone who can sign your card.
You must –
- Write on the card which competition you are play, or if you are playing both you can write “all summer comps”.
- Clearly label which of your columns are nets and which are putts.
- Sign your card – and have your partner sign it too.
- Place it in the grey box on the wall by the door in the Ladies Porch.
Don’t forget also to enter your score in the computer as usual, but the computer cannot handle entering putts, and some of the other information.
I hope to see as many of you as possible out on the course over the Christmas break. It’s hot out there, so please remember to stay hydrated when playing. Keep a look out for your fellow golfers and enjoy your game.
