It appears that some errors are being made on scorecards and when entering scores in the machine.
At a GMC meeting on Monday it was decided that when a competition is involved the following steps need to happen:
Changes to Haggle Cards:
- Swap cards with your marker
- You must putt out, not score gimme’s
- You and your marker need to compare scores, then both sign each card as correct.
- Enter your scores in the machine.
- Put your card in the box on the match table. (Only if you are in the haggle).
To be eligible for the haggle you need to have your card in by 4.30pm on both Wed and Sat. Shortly after that the results will be announced, including nearest the pins/longest drives.
Other news
Draws are up for matchplay singles and pairs. Get in touch with your opponent and get games played early.
Shootout – remember to put your name in the book before or after you’ve played.
Sat 31st May – 3 person Ambrose. Pick your own team. Entries due by 28th May. All 3 play from every ball, 5 tee shots each. Play alongside another team. If you haven’t got a team we will find you others to play with. $5 each.
