Members,
We are having more issues with Members having no patience on the 17th Hole when other members are only playing 9 holes. I have asked for patience from members several times. I have also asked that you merge with others when you come off 16 if others are coming off the 7th. Consider playing the last two holes “together”.
With the exception of Wednesdays and Saturdays before 4.30pm which are club competition days members are to merge patiently with those playing 9 holes. No one should be sprinting off the 16th and telling others off that come off the 7th and vice versa.
A member was hit coming off the 7th the other day because the person teeing off the 17th didn’t say “fore”. And then proceeded to tell off the people coming off the 7th instead of apologising.
I cannot be at the course 24/7 to hold everyone’s hands.
And a reminder you are to be booked on 18holes before playing on our golf course. If you are not you are breaching the base security requirements. That includes those that are playing after 6.00pm during summer. If in doubt email the club captain.
