I have just been around the golf course and emptied all our rubbish bins in preparation for about 3 busyish weeks and have to say that we are doing very poorly with our recycling. Can I ask please that you bring all cans, bottles and plastic bottles off the golf course and back to the recycling bins.
Volunteering 1…due to a lack of volunteers recently I have temporarily closed the course on Sunday 9th until we have completed some creek clean outs on 14, 15 and 16. Many hands make light work so I request some help on Sunday morning from 7.30am please bring weed eaters, rakes and gloves. The quicker we get this done the quicker the course reopens.
Volunteering 2…We are hosting Mixed Pennants on Sunday 16th and will need spotters from 10:30am please about 8 helpers with a morning (10:30) shift and afternoon (1pm) shift. We are also hosting Champion of Champions Women’s on Sunday 23rd between 7:00am and 2:30pm (ish) and will need spotters and helpers most of the day. If you can help with any of these events please let me know.
Volunteering 3…Doing your bit around the clubhouse. Please tidy up after yourself when you are enjoying the hospitality of the Golf Club. Wipe down your tables and return your glasses and bottles to the correct bins/trays.
Twilight Golf will be held on Thursday night this week from 3pm.
Melbourne Cup is being held on Tuesday until around 2:30pm. If you can help for a couple of hours on the BBQ during the day please let us know. We still have a couple of spots for players if anyone would like to play.
