Members,
Firstly let me apologise for the state of our Greens this last few days. The two events we hosted the players didn’t have too much respect for our greens and left 8 pitch marks on each one on Thursday and 4 more pitch marks on Sunday. I thank the members who played Wednesday and Saturday they were pretty much pitch mark free before each event.
We have a Christmas Party Canadian Foursome event being held on Sunday the 14 December for members. $30 per person Great Prizes played in pairs. Paddy will explain more in due course. What I have done is opened up Saturday 13 December for members and their guests…usual Saturday players you have 20 minutes to book your groups in then it is open for all. Members booking guests please wait until 9.20am Friday 5 December before booking guests in for Saturday 13th. Lets fill the club for one big weekend of golf.
Wednesday 24 December will be the first Holiday Haggle with Wednesdays and Saturdays over the summer being holiday haggle days. Remember $3 Haggles honesty system money on the match table. Please enter your card in the system and leave cards on the match table with your $3. If you are not playing in the Holiday Haggle please enter your card and destroy.
Big AGM this Saturday. Plenty to discuss so please turn up on Saturday at 9am. Important things to go thru to shape the future of our club.
Lastly it has been a busy year and we cannot do what we do with out the support of our Members (Volunteers). For all those that have helped out throughout the year I thank you. Another big year ahead next year and the only way we can make it successful is if we all get in and do a bit each. If I am return next year for an unprecedented 4th year in a row as Club Captain I need your help.
